Do I need a referral to begin physical therapy?
In most cases, no referral is needed. law allows patients to access physical therapy directly without seeing a physician first. This is called direct access. However, some insurance plans may still require a referral for coverage. Our team will check your benefits and let you know what is required before your first visit.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card
- Any referral or imaging reports, if available
- Completed patient forms (or arrive early to fill them out)
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Athletic shoes are recommended.
How long are physical therapy sessions?
